Hello Spideaux,

If you go back 2/3 weeks in questions list, you will find similar questions to yours concerning coconut benefits and their answers.

I'm still pondering on whether to buy it but can find no related testing re it's benefits if anyone knows a good site about Coconut Oil please do let me know.

Hello Oldtyke,

Read anything by Bruce Fife. He has written a book on reversing Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and other neurological conditions. You can obviously get it from Amazon.

Like all things where health is concerned especially, some people make claims that are not always reproducible with others. May I suggest that where the latter book is concerned, you take a few minutes to read the reviews on Amazon.com. Most are not reporting successes even though they write in positive terms, whilst there are a couple of others that review their actual experiences.

(Sick joke alert!)

I do believe it is agains the law to use, make, or use it in any form. I think that is because Racoons are now listed on the endangered species list...what? CoConut oil? Okay! Nevermind! I would have assumed that pressing these little fellows to extract the oil might have been a bit bothersome - especially for the Racoon!

BTW, I buy mine at a regional market chain called "Trader Joes". So far I have only used it for cooking...

Best wishes,

Steve,
