Probably a side-effect of your medications. Keep a diary recording times and compare with taking of meds. Then talk to the PD nurse specialist or your neurologist.
what meds are you on
I've had PD since at least '04, maybe sooner.
For the last several years (maybe coincident with PD - don't remember) my feet are too hot when I wear socks and shoes, so I don't wear socks with shoes.
I have PD on the right side, and 2 fingers and part of my right palm are numb. That numbness has increased as I've been changing meds over the last ~6 mos, so I suspect it's at least partly a med side-effect.
I have trouble chording my guitar. It's like I forgot how to play.
Hi, I have had the same feelings in both my legs, I have seen my GP and my neurologist, it wasn't until I saw a Dermatologist, and she reckoned it was bad circulation due to Parkinson's disease, and I was told to lift my legs up and let the blood run back, try it, it does help, you also might try having a bath and raise your feet above your body, remember our brains are sending out messages at about a fifth of the normal strength so the feet and legs are the furtherest distance from our brain, hence toes, feet and legs suffer. I have had PD since 1999/2000. and this just happened about a year ago. bye Danny
Hi, are your legs red to purple in colour?
I have the same problem with my feet and legs too. From what I've read it may be caused from a medication I'm taking. [Amantadine] I'm going to try and get off of it..
