To the gentleman who wrote about MirapexinER what does the ER stand for. I take mirapexin but without the ER. |Does it make a difference.

It is "Extended Release". for example, if you take 8mg a day of normal release for any medication the dosage is 2 mg x 4 per day, and you would take it at around 6 hourly intervals. With the ER pills, you take 1 x 8mg per day at the same time each day. (I have Ropinerole 8mg ER sometime between 9 and 10 every morning)

Dementia is not a certainty by any means. Sure, there will be a deterioration in brain function but that isn't the same thing.

Stop worrying about it, tryto keep your brain active by doing logic puzzles, crosswords etc.

Above all, keep thinking positive thoughts.
