I had the DBS surgery about a year and a half ago, and would do it all over again. The difference is unbelievable. Good luck!

Be patient; follow the docs orders and you'll do fine. Five months out from my DBS, I've found that I can do so much more. My doc said there could be some "bumps in the road". There have been bumps, but no roadblocks. Patience is the key.

I also had DBS 6 months ago. I am much better, but still encounter off time, but not as severe. My next appt with Dr. Jill is Dec 14 for adjustments to the impulse generator. My recovery is about 90%. Give yourself plenty of recovery time and exercise!
