Grateful ...Yes! How can that be?

As I struggled through another day trying to focus on the job, i felt overwhelmed and insecure . A common experience for me lately. In addition to my own struggles with PD having a husband who's health concerns diminish those of my own leave me tired and worn .

Normally being a person of optimistic perseverence I found myself sad and almost hopeless about the present let alone the future.

Then I opened my email...and saw something i would like to share. My only wish is that it will inspire hope and faith for others as it did for me.

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow."~ Melody Beattie

Wishing you and yours a happy, loving, safe, and peace-filled Thanksgiving.

That is the way to look at life indeed, admiration to you.

We may get our black episodes, but come through them eventually

We can always be sure when it comes dark it will be light in the morning.

We have to so as to make out the meaning of all this.

thank you all so much for your up-beat attitude toward parkinsons. right now i'm a little , no a lot afraid of what the future has in store for me. but your notes and thoughts are very inspirational.

and you are right there is much to be thankful for. my husband and best friend, my family,

being in a warm house . with enough to eat. and al of my friends. and especially to have such good friends that can make the load of this disease mush lighter. oh and al, since i;ve been taking carb levo dopa , there has no incidents of faliing. which has really been a treat. might hit a wall on occasion, but nothing serious.

love to you all, judam9

The Thanksgiving weekend has been busy. I have season tickets for New Mexico State football and basketball. Games. The Bball Aggies played Wednesday night and beat Northern New Mexico. Tonight we play Louisiana. Tomorrow afternoon the football team plays BYU at home. The PD is worse outdoors watching football. I have less rigidity watching basketball indoors. Going to games live is my entertainment time that I really enjoy. I hope to continue to attend games for years to come.
