My Neuro(tic) Doc gave me Domperidone 50 mg x 3 per day. It works for me.

You can use either a small slice of Ginger Root place in a cup of tea or buy Ginger Syrup that is avaiable from most Health Foods Store. Both work very well!

I've been using candied ginger cut up in my cold cereal. What do you do with the syrup?

crystalized ginger for sure , which is ginger root in tons of sugar. It has a bite to be sure but I like it. And it works. I get it in health food stores or asian stores. If not available, use fresh ginger or ginger in powder.

Crystalised ginger is on the shelves at Sainsbury's and the larger Tesco's - it is in the home baking section. That suggests hat it should be at Morrisons, Asda and Waitrose in time for Christmas.

I had bad nausea when I was on 3mg Ropinirole a day but Domperidone kept it at bay. Now I`m on 8mg a day there is no sign of nausea

This is a long time problem way before the pd. I really don't want to take more meds. Thanks for your suggestion anyway.

How do you use it?

I often have nausea and cold sweats about 20 minutes to half an hour after I take sinemet. I lay down on my bed with a ceiling fan going directly above my body until it passes - usually within a half hour.
