To a Scotsman, a nip of Single Malt Whisky for a Nightcap.

For an Irishman, that would be Jamieson's

For a Welshman, a pint of the best local beer

For an Englishman, a cup of tea.

Laughter and spending quality time with those you love unconditionally who love you unconditionally in return.

To allowercase:

For a true Scot Single Malt Whiskey any time ... or Irn-Bru!?! AYE!

To Nouska

For me, there is only one - Bowmore 18 yr old from the island of Islay.

Irn Bru is very good for cleaning badly corroded car battery terminals. Only Coke is better.

Sorry joemen, we have kind of borrowed your question. But it does demonstrate what Nouska said - Laughter is the best medicine.

Thanks

To joemen :

Laughter is the best medicine - for young and old alike.

To alllowercase:

I highly recommend Irn-Bru as a descaler for shower heads. No toxic fumes. Sodium bicarbonate followed by Irn-Bru cleans out clogged drains too.

A multi purposeful product.

18 yr old Bowmore - a fine choice.

If it's that good on drains, it would be a much more palatable substitute for Ex-lax. Pity it wasn't around in the time of Dr Crippen - he'd never have been caught.

Have a look at the pictures of our dogs just to the left of this. What breed is yours? Maybe part Husky?

Mine is a Tibetan Yeti Hound - at least, that's what I tell the local kids.

Joemen

Sorry - we are just continuing your laughter therapy.

Ex-lax v Irn-bru. Very funny.

Dr Crippen ... chilling historical reference.

Grey wolf.

Tibetan Yeti Hound!?! Nice tall tale. Have yeti relocated to UK? HA!

Cheers.

Did you know that ex-lax is the best bait for mousetraps?

Needed help from Dr C. tonight - soon 2B ex is now in Police custody. Luckily the cut in my hand is not too bad. I could have done with Dr C's help.

Yes, there are as many Yeti in England as there are lions in Essex. But I DO have a jacket made from the hair of the first Yeti my Sushi caught. Will send you a photo.

I will try it. Thanks ... but ... what happens if the trap doesn't trap? Mice with the runs?? Eee..

Glad you are safe still with all bits intact. What a nightmare. Sorry you had to endure a violent attack.

Ha ha ha ... Essex lion. Not.

Moral - never upset a drunken Brasilian woman unless you are wearing rocket powered trainers !!

For the mice, first leave small bits of normal chocolate near where you find their runs. Do this for 3 or 4 days, making sure they are taking the bait (hint - latex gloves to handle the choco or they will avoid your smell). Then, on day 5, substitute the ex-lax. They always take the foraged food back to the nest for the babies, so that is where they will turn up their toes. If you are really lucky, the stench of the fumes will kill the rest of the family.

in my PD classes are folks of all ages and they are all on different meds, some a lot, some a little. It's a progression so it changes. My neuro says stay undermedicated!

Joemen, i dont know the answer because i'm not a medic but i do know that as we get older we get less tolerant of drugs. For this reason they often avoid agonist meds for older people and put them straight on to sinimet ( L Dopå) .

The unfortunate thing about PD is it is always progressive so for most of us we have to regularly adjust our meds . Some people are stable for a few years on one regime while others have to increase amounts every few months.
