Calgon---take me away! I would love a bath to soak my stiff muscles and help with dry skin. Does anyone have a bath lift. If so, what kind?

Yes, I got a bath lift about 4 months ago. to be honest, i don't really need one yet, but it was offered free by the authoritees and I thought I may as well get used to it.

It certainly help getting in and out of the bath. I raise it up high to get in by sitting on it and then swinging my legs to the left and into the bath. I then power it down to its lowest point to have my bath. To get out, just do that in reverse.

The worst point is it restricts the amount of room while you are having a bath, and you have to change the way you some things. Overall, it is worth having, if only to be able to wash your feet with it on high, and sitting comfortably.

Good luck.

Right now hubby has to turn over on to all fours, then he can stand up otherwise it doesn't happen. I'll have to check out a tublift. I have several friends who work with DME. If I get any info I'll pass it along.

Sadly, I can't turn over I have a lot of movement problems. I can step into the tub but my muscles are so stiff I can barely get to a sitting position and getting out is nearly impossible.

The reason I asked is because Walgreens.com has a Bellavita Power Bath Lift on sale for $499.99, free shipping and return to store if necessary. I've watched the video and it looks pretty good but I thought I'd see if anyone had any experience with bath lifts. Thanks.

I spoke to a friend today who works in the DME business. He told me to research bath lifts online to get an idea of what is out there. You need to know the depth and width of the tub to make sure it fits and check how low it will go. Some don't go down far enough and you still aren't soaking in the tub, just your feet are. Before you buy from Walgreen's check the website of the manufacturer for customer reviews.

I had time to read the reviews this morning. I see a problem with the battery life. There seem to be better options for a bit more money. Good luck on your search for a good reliable lift seat.
