It's nice outside. Shorts and skirts kinda nice. I've always been a bit of a tom boy and was never too gentle with myself. BUT the number of bruises on my legs in all their assorted hues of healing is ridiculous! My legs look like old bruised bananas! Some of them I remember getting--a bump here and bonk there. Some of them?? I haven't a clue!
Hello Spring. Welcome Summer.
All this bruising is a bit of a bummer.
Unlike getting roses these colorful blooms
are not better by the dozen.

I also have a problem with bruising very easily. I don't know when this happens but my legs and arms are covered with bruises. Very fetching, I don't think. I wonder whether it is because my skin has altered because of ageing, or perhaps is due to my meds.
If people remark on them, I tend to act surprised.
I don't have the bruise problem BUT my skin seems to have aged by many years. I'm one of those thin skinned light skinned folks who has always hidden from the sun. I am wondering if it is age related or Santa Fe's dry air, which is otherwise wonderful or , heaven's can it be PD?
ME TOO ......I USED TO WEAR KNEE GUARDS BUT MY FALLING PATTERN HAS CHANGED I NOW HAVE A BLUE BUTT!! I ALSO USED TO KNOW WHICH ONE CAME FROM WHICH FALL , BUT NOW THEY HAVE ALL COME TOGETHER AND I HAVE LOVELY BLUE LEGS THAT MATCH MY BLUE BUTT!!!!!
any pics? I'm kidding not asking to be closed down for unacceptable material In all seriousness it is one of the most challenging and depressing problems ie which Dx is responsible for what symptoms. I'll ponder some more and return with some brilliant insights PLease don't hold your breath. G'nigt
I don't have bruising from falling..... not at that stage yet, I 'm assuming. But on the left arm, the side my Parkinsons is on for now, I have blood pools come to the surface of my skin and it looks like I am all banged up. They usually go away unless I bump it, then it breaks the skin and bleeds. YUCK!! I HATE IT!
i need to bitch! So the tiny support group I joined (we are often just 2 clients) is cancelled today. It seems our facilitator, who is an intern and just 2 weeks ago took over for the woman he was training with, cancelled because he needs to catch up on some paper work! What's wrong with this picture?? Let's see, hmmm clients.. hmm paper work. what was the topic, bruises, right? Do the emotional ones count?
