I've been working with the Michael J Fox Foundation in their efforts to track PD biomarkers. Have an appointment tomorrow morning for DATscan/lumbar puncture. I'm spending the day getting psyched for it.

I was recruited at my last clinic appointment.Took part in the trial last week,Go for it you get a neuro to youself for a couple of hours.Involved usual exam some blood taking and a lengthy questionaire, tick variety.I understand this week is the launch of the campaign.You must have been under 50 when you were diagnosed.

Thought about signing up but: I'm in the USA, over 50 when told I had PD (but believe I have had since about the time I turned 50) and was told I had it 6+ years ago.

I've signed up - am 46 and was dxd 2005 , so should fit theiir criteria......
