I love coming to this site. It's like a fishbowl. You can meet people who share your special curse. Sooth their worry. Feel their pain.
But
Sometimes my 20 y.o. daughter will look up from her cellphone and sigh her sigh. I think it annoys her when I tell her to "excuse my behavior" every week. I tell her about a blog site full of annoying people repeating annoying things. Annoying sleep patterns. Annoying tremors. Annoying falls. Annoying Meds. Annoying spilled tea. Annoying questions asked in dozens of annoying ways. Go to the site and sure enough someone will be observing the same thing. Let's face it: Parkinson's IS annoying. If Parkinson's is annoying this site is like Annoyance Central. In the end you come away feeling sort of normal.

Sure I am self obsessed, but probably more obsessed with this site as it is only people in the same situation who can empathise with each other. It is my lifeline and keeps me sane, I think.
It's December now. I just read this blog to my daughter. She said "yeh. Nothings changed".
True. In fact we just had the same conversation yesterday. It drives me crazy. All of the same situations. All of the same feelings. All of the same reactions. It's not about annoying people. It's about having someone to talk to when we feel low.
