hi everyone.
my name is john i have been living with pd for two years now. im 44
living life as a painter who loved my 1100cc motorbike and living life
to the full. it started with a slight movement in my right hand and overall
stiffness that i put down to not being as young as i used to be.!! Then after
a trip to the docs and a scan later my life with pd had begun.
after feeling numb for a few months not knowing what lay ahead, how bad
will i get, can i still work, ect. All questions i had. some answers have been
found, i cant continue with painting, the motorbike had to go. but after all the
bad comes the fight back, i am taking simenet 12.5 25 , ropinirole xl 8mg,
selegiline 10mg, the meds need fine tuning but whats new.
the time for feeling sorry for myself is over i am getting back on my push bike
and im going to train for a cycle ride from lands end to john o groats in aid of
parkinsons it will tough but i will get there. parkinsons won round one but i
will win the fight. the cycle ride is just the begining of the fight back, bring
on round two. Thank you for reading.
JOHN.
