overview & comparison of stem cell providers

i have created an overview here to compare the stem cell providers. i plan to choose one by the end of this year. My current favorite is Biostar (Japan/South Korea), as it has successfully treated the most Parkinson's patients. Do you have any ideas, or do you know any other providers?

Thank you for being a "guinea pig" for all of us. I believe that stem cell therapy is still an excessive waste of money without scientific validation. Since you are at the beginning of PD, I would suggest you wait for this procedure with indefinite side effects, and continue your research towards other strategies. PD must not become an obsession, there is always Elon Musk who will give us his microchips!!! :-D Enjoy life as much as you can.

Tom, I have done stem cell therapy in Bangkok, twice . As much as it has improved my physical health it has not done much for Parkinson’s. I have done stem cell from umbilical cord and exosome the second time. Last January I had a full body check up and everything is perfect : I’m a heathy person with Parkinson’s disease. I believe the problem it’s all in the gut and I’m working on it now.

I recommend to listen to the last podcast episode of Two Parkies in a Pod with someone that's working in stem cell therapy for Parkinson's for many years now. Basically, everything that's offered right now, beyond some clinical trials, is a waste of money.

I agree, it seems like a lot of money to spend on an unproven therapy.

From what I gathered, stem cell therapy can only be successful if you inject embryo forms of dopamine-producing cells back into the brain. Then it will take approximately two years for them to grow into dopamine-producing cells.

If I look at your examples, then they mostly seem to be injecting your own fat and stuff like that, which is not really the same thing.

I think it is sufficient to take your own stem cells from the abdominal fat. I'm not planning to inject cultured cells into my brain for the time being. Science is still far enough advanced for that. But the procedure from Japan/South Korea sounds interesting. see here:

I think whatever you believe and hope for will have a positive result. I am also thinking about this treatment method.

I am constantly following up with Jun Takahashi (the lead person on Kyoto University stem cells trial for Parkinson's). He told me that they are keeping the outcome of 8 patients treated so far confidential. He didn't give any timeline for revealing the outcome

Thanks for the answer! I find the topic very exciting. I am particularly interested in treatments where the stem cells are obtained from the patient's own abdominal fat. They seem to be very successful in Japan/South Korea. Here is the article:

You are right. However these clinics provide anecdotal evidence as proof of their success. I will accept the patient's testimonials if I knew them personally. There are some clinics in china who offer stem cell treatment on the basis of the success for their previous patients. One of the HU forum member had gone through their treatment and was very satisfied with the results (maybe placebo or improvements due to their PT which they carry out in addition to the stem cell therapy.) however after a month or two he was again in the same condition as before the treatment

My condition is still unchanged as you can see on the videos from my homepage! And that after 1572 days or 4.3 years after the diagnosis (without medication!) tomparkinson.de/videos-from-me
