One of the reasons why some people get severe carpopedal spasm when you leave a blood tourniquet for too long. The usual Calcium chloride* antidote injection does not work like magic (shows my age *)
It seems wise to question the information provided by Dr. Eric Berg, in addition the use or X, considering his commercial interest in selling his supplements. This potential conflict of interest is an important factor to consider when evaluating his health advice. Furthermore, Dr. Eric Berg is not a medical doctor; he is only a chiropractor, and his business is heavily influenced by Scientology, as previously reported here.
That doesn't mean he doesn't (mis)use interesting topics in his simplified popular videos. It is advisable to refer to the original studies for more objective information, such as the article "Magnesium Supplementation in Vitamin D Deficiency" by Pramod Reddy et al., published in Am J Ther. in January/February 2019.

In addition, it is showed that Vitamin D could have a significant influence on the metabolism and/or activity not only of Magnesium, but also Zinc and Vitamine K, and vice versa.

Not mentioned here, but these individual nutrients, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Zinc, Magnesium have been studied in relation to PD, often yielding inconsistent or preliminary results. Recognizing that these nutrients don't function in isolation, but interact significantly, could be key to interpreting conflicting research findings and potential nutritional strategies for PD management.
