Clickbait news article title: "Undiscovered cause of Parkinson’s found for first time by scientists in huge breakthrough"

Reality: "The findings published in the journal Science reveal ... the structure of PINK1 and how it binds to mitochondria". It is true that mutations in PINK1 cause a rare form of Parkinson's, but as to a general cure, nope.

Also, there are many years of research and testing involved to go from an understanding of how things go wrong to a treatment. Don't get me wrong - this is useful information for researchers. But a long way from an actionable result.
