Dr. Marc Gallay.....

🍾🍷🤩 Here comes the moment we've been waiting for. The Swiss Medical Network, with whom we will be partnering, announced to me this morning that they would be signing the purchase of an ExAblate Neuro 4000 V2 machine today, to be installed in a brand-new medical center in Berne (Ostermundigen). I almost can't believe it after 6 long months! This means we'll be able to start consulting in September. The first operations should be able to take place from end-September to early October, depending on the installation by Insightec! If anyone would like to be seen for a consultation (new patient or follow-up) in September: please write to Mrs Rossi at info@sifus.ch

We'll be ready to welcome you, boosted by the anticipation of the past half-year.

As soon as the sifus.ch website is up and running, we won't need this whats'app group.

🙏🏻Thank you again for your support over the last few months, I believe that without it Dr. G. would have gone back to general neurosurgery or to other medical horizons.

Yeah, still hoping to find the right combination in my 'lab." Someone mentioning on our zoom that a number of peeps were not thrilled with their Fus outcome, keeps me in limbo....

Eric,

That was me, but the info was heresay, i.e., not to be relied on. Who knows how many people that (rumor) passed thru. I know of 2 and both had a low skull density ratio and one of those was done at Stanford, which hasn't got a good track record.

On the other hand out of several hundred procedures, I would expect some (6 - 7) poor outcomes.

Just don't figet around during the procedure. 🙂

We have a small private group for only those who are post surgery from sonimodul. I asked the question of those in the group if they would go through PTT again given what they know post surgery. Everyone who answered said yes! That being said I do know of a couple poor outcomes - one through Sonimodul and one Stanford. Probably the same two as Marc.
