My husband's movement disorder specialist wants him to try Nourianz to help him have more on-time. Anyone tried it? What is your experience?

My HWP took it for 2 years to try to help with on time and fatigue. Now no longer taking it as it was very $$$ and medicare does not cover it. In retrospect it is a caffiene analogue, may have helped with energy and I also think it helped slow down progression. He is worse after stopping BUT he did have major spinal surgery twice 3 weeks apart, a year ago and the stress of surgery accelerated PD.
If you insurance covers it you may want to give it a try. No withdrawal symptoms when we tapered.

No, my husband hasn’t tried it but has recently been put on Opicapone to extend his on time and it is a game changer!
