I've heard about it but have not rabbit holes it or tried it. I have done psilocybin and found it provided me some calm for brief periods. I am curious what the active ingredient in it helps with Parkinsons. On its base level it is just MDMA, I'm sure it's microcosm but as to what gains?? O have been considering micro dosing psilocybin for anxiety issues. Never had anxiety till I was diagnosed with Parkinsons. Now it seems to run my life and I refuse to take any anxiety meds because I've seen the long term negative effects they have.

same with my husband. His anxiety is very high. He did try lexapro but he’s weaned off now. The ibogaine is supposed to to ease anxiety and depression. Also help with other symptoms, motor and non-motor. Joe Rogan had a podcast with some American Veterans and they are trying to get it taken off the Schedule 1 list and make it available, especially veterans suffering from PTSD, alcoholism, among a few. Right now you have to go to clinics in Mexico and I think Portugal has one.

I never had anxiety either, until PD. Ibogaine would be worth trying if it was available in the US. I've been wondering if ketamine is similar in results. It is obtainable, legally.

I know they use ketamine for those symptoms. Probably worth looking into.

there’s a Facebook group called alternative Parkinson’s therapies. It has been discussed extensively there since the podcast episode with Joe Rogan came out.

there is a Rumble podcaster(Redpill the World) who had a doctor on about Ibogaine for PTSD as well as for PD. It was very informative and promising news. They have a website that has info about Ibogaine Therapy in Mexico and Regenerative Medicine. I haven't dug into it, but the website is ambio.life for anyone who wants to look into it.

My husband took iboga root bark over several months last year. The main thing he noticed was his sense of smell came back. Just started ibogaine two days ago but we only have a small amount, enough for 10 mg twice a day for three weeks (five days on, two days off). Hoping to obtain more…
