My dear friends, as I admitted a few days ago openly the blog and writing is a little bit obsessive and addictive. Yesterday taught me that it was too much with too much drama and pain with the extreme high and hopefully short term low of the pump journey. I am going to force myself to step back for a while. Stay tuned and hopefully will post more positive energy messages soon. I am pleased that I have made awareness higher and the pump is overall still amazing but it and I need to breathe a little. Took me a while but I think I saw it eventually. This addictive behavior is a real thing as is a lack of sleep!

Good for you to recognize your obsession and make changes. Bravo.
Nowadays many of us find we've gone down the rabbit hole of the internet and continue to go deeper and deeper - some of it time wasted - some of it brings knowledge.
I've limited myself 2 hours daily - do some billing on line, read a little news, read HU, try not to delve too much into Parkinson's news daily - daily can be too much. Then, go outdoors with camera in hand or grab a sandwich with some coffee and go to a park to watch nature. Hubby with PD is not able to walk far so we will sit in car together.
Not going out today as it is negative 5 degrees. Been awhile since we've had such low temps here in the Adirondacks in NYS.
Dear Ben, please don’t be so hard on yourself. You have done nothing wrong. Your writing has always been sensitive to those whose experiences might have been different to your own. You have brought us good news and fresh hope with your honesty and enthusiasm, and I’m grateful and would love to continue hearing updates about you and the pump.
