Crexont pricing

I just returned from a conference (in the US) where the reps from Amneal said Crexont was priced significantly lower than Rytary which surprised me. They said it was done so that it would be more easily covered in Medicare Part D plans. I'm wondering if it is to get people on it and used to it before Rytary has a generic version ( not sure when that will be). Am I being too skeptical?

If crexont is a new development it could be decades before genetics are around couldn't it?

Crexont is not on my prescription drug plans’s formulary (U. S.) and costs about $600 out of pocket

I was told it will take a little while to get in the formularies. I also heard that your doctor can appeal it if your insurance won't cover it. It sucks that getting treatment we need can be so difficult to get.
