Parkinsons presenting attaining the leg in ability to stand and walk due to pain after a knee replacement. I really did not have a tremor. I went to many physicians trying to figure it out. They found cordcompression my cervical spine had a big operation didn’t help just got infected with Proionobavterium Acne but then Istarted to shake in my left leg. That’s only the diagnosis of Parkinson’s ,but it took three years. At the time I was beginning to shuffle the hunched over and have no arm swing.

I took medication to my Parkinson’s I have less pain and no pain for my injuries. Any injury i have now affected by my Parkinson’s. - yeah my medication pain is less low. The pain is greatly intensified. Like somebody standing there with a dial and turns the pain up as I get it up as I get lower.

had a painful right angle hernia repair and that pain went away but whenever I have a low in Parkinsons the pain comes back here. Last week had a Covid shot and they’re usually sore. When I went to a low thing from that double t

Big problem right now is that I have a severe compress nerve in my back at L3,4 it is very painful to begin with when I go into a low with Parkinson’s. It greatly increases just like the Covid shot. Seems like wherever I have an injury or pathology the ups and downs of Parkinson’s greatly affect the level of pain.

I just had deep brain stimulation installed. We just turned it on two days ago. My dyskinesis are gone. I’m waiting to see if it helps with the paint all. I don’t think it will. But wait-and-see.

I am curious as to who else out there at this kind of Parkinson presentation ?Any advice.? trying to avoid narcotics getting pretty hard.

I have become super sensitive to pain. It seems as if my brain remembers every injury I've ever had, even though healed for decades. With any new injury, however small, my pain response seems to be greatly exaggerated. Mind/body therapy can help. The explanation is that in chronic pain it's often neuroplastic, and the brain still sends out pain signals long after healing. It claims to be connected with emotions, and It's better explained by experts. If you Google Pain Reprocessing Therapy you'll find websites. It doesn't appeal to everyone, but I've found it very helpful when pain becomes extreme, and especially with migraine.
