So has anyone used this therapy previously and had anything similar to what this gentleman is stating happen to their symptoms?

This is not the same as the supplement NAC

Thanks

Hi, thanks for sharing. Interestingly enough I have tried giving my mom (who has Parkinson's) NAD twice now (a NAD Complex to be specific with NAD, NR, & NMN in it) Both times she has experienced what I am assuming is what they call over in the High Dose Vitamin B1 community a "Paradox Reaction" where her symptoms actually seem to get a little worse.

She takes B1 now but we have not yet attempted to go high dose because she's not ready for Paradox right now. We have stopped NAD both times now for same reason.

I actually am taking it as a good sign because from what I have gathered from those who are experts in the B1 therapy...the stronger your Paradox reaction is...the more effective the therapy potentially will be and is a sign that your body really needs this nutrient.

This is just a theory of mine in regards to the NAD...but it makes sense to me as the underlying idea behind the effectiveness of the B1 therapy is that these peoples bodies in particular just hav some sort of malfunction when it comes to proper Vitamin absorption...whether it be due to enzymatic damage or whatever.

Thanks for sharing this because it is interesting to see as most people specifically talk about B1 and I am curious ow many others experience this with NAD or anything else.

Here, this article says that the NAD experiments on parkinsons have had mixed results :

Is there a way to get the same thing by taking supplements instead of going to a clinic to get the NAD IV drip bag treatment?

have you tried taking a multi nutrient that supplies all the other vitamins in their natural enzymatic forms, with minerals like magnesium and trace nutrients like selenium, etc.

That might top up anything else missing in the body. Then when you start the treatment for the nad deficiency it won’t run out of something else it needs.

Not what you're looking for?
