Anyone else have the experience of yoga nidra stopping tremors? I wonder if this explains that phenomenon. Short and to the point video. youtube.com/watch?v=b2E5FsW...

Yoga Nidra and guided relaxation videos stop my tremors. I gotta start doing this kind of thing every day!

Health = Absence of Dis-ease

Absence of Dis-ease = presence of ease

Ease = Relaxation

Relaxation = Yoga Nidra

I have been doing Yoga Nidra for quite a while. I find that most of the time my tremor completely stops during the practice. And while there is not a completely lasting stoppage , for a while at least my tremor may be lessened somewhat. Unfortunately I have not been as consistent practicing it as I would like to. Also, a lot of the time I am doing it when my tremor is really acting up and it is difficult to get into a totally supine position since lying with my palms up (supinated) exacerbates my right side tremor. So sometimes I lie with right palm turned down on the floor or on my stomach palm down. Anyway, I wholly recommend Yoga Nidra,. I use You Tube videos and I am partial to the ones by Elena Mironov. I love her voice.

MOST interesting topic; thank you to gomelgo for posting.

Question for cceelen — relating to her reply that yoga nigra results in “spider web” feelings of increased neuron activity...

I have had some recent “spider web” sensation in my Parkinson’s affected left arm. It’s quite a pleasant sensation, which I’ve only recently noticed.

As I’ve been doing the Hi Dose Thiamine protocol for awhile, I'm wondering whether the “spider web” sensation is a sign that the protocol is working. I’m searching for the sweet spot dose, but taking it slow.

Very interested in learning a bit more on this topic.

Thank you kindly.

Yes, when I'm able to do Nidra several times per day, the spider webs increase! Happy to have something where I can see cause and effect!
