Posting bitmaps

Hi, does anyone know how to post and add bitmap images (some Levodopa charts I'd like some feedback on)? I get the following messages each time (for .png and .jpg extensions)

"There was a problem uploading your image. Make sure your image ends with .jpg, .jpeg or .png."

It is displaying the images in the post-preview but displays that message when I click 'Post'

open up the file then save as jpeg

can you open any video and save as a jpeg?

You can convert the bitmap to a jpg. There are plenty of online converters.
