Thanks. Somebody else posted this but I did not read it. Denial is an important part of my strategy.

So much research just seems to take so long to be able to be utilized.

I skimmed it and could be helpful but only to confirm what we already know. What is more important are actual therapies we can do the slow, stop or reverse or disorder. iRBD symptoms go away, most likely good indicator you slowed stopped or reversed iRBD and most likey you slowed, stopped or reversed PD. So the issue is not biomarker testing for prodromal PD but actual therapies that bring your body back into balance before PD. We can see the signs if the right questions are asked during our annual checkups. Why not this first, then we can rely on a biomarker blood test to just confirm?

MJF just announced a biomarker, but it requires cerebrospinal fluid. Not very practical. :(

The utility of blood borne biomarkers is 1. get a baseline level. 2. start a nutritional program. 3. do follow up blood tests.

If the markers stay the same over time = stable disease

If the markers are elevated = disease is getting worse

If the markers drop = suggests the disease (not just the symptoms) is improving.
