US Congresswoman deals with public speaking problems using text-to-voice technology

I recently learned about Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton through a CNN report. She was initially diagnosed with Parkinson's and later with PSP. Despite her condition, she communicates using text-to-speech technology.

This has made me consider using a similar technology for communication. I believe that people will understand and respect this choice. All that is needed from the other person or persons is patience when communicating with me in this way.
