Today I experimented with different genre of seeds (velvet beans). I purchased it from herbs shop . It's very effective. Only three to four seeds have an effect equal to 100 mg levodopa tablet.Start taking effect within 15 minutes with a dose of 5 grams
And seems that when I am "ON" with seeds, I feels more natural wellbeing. Different from sinemet

I didn't stop sinemet altogether but weaned it from 4 times to 2 times and lesser amount per dose. I am planning to completely come off sinemet in the next 3 days.
Simple. Grind the raw mucuna seeds in the grinder and seive it with some fine mesh. The filtered Powder can be taken with measuring directly afterwards
I have purchased it from a shop directly. Can be searched from online stores. Try to purchase visually similar beans as shown in the photo. Please note that there are numerous varieties of the velvet beans and the levodopa content vary accordingly. There are other ingredients of mucuna apart from levodopa which are beneficial for PD. The Hindu ayurveda believes that it's Godsend plant for PD
You are right. I forgot to mention that its recommended to remove its shells (seed cover). This can be easily done by keeping the seeds in sun (or 5 minutes in oven) which loosens its covers and easily removable
Its ON time is 30 - 45 minutes more than the Sinemet. One thin I noted that my symptoms are lesser during night and getting up in the morning is better. But its been only 3 to 4 days. Lets see what happens in the long run
Please add a link to where you purchased these! This is so exciting to hear! We've tried capsules purchased on Amazon but my HWP noticed no relief from his tremors. We are both totally natural & have refused all Big HARMus toxic dope so we're always seeking natural alternatives that can help in any way. I'd really appreciate more info about where to purchase these beans.
As I mentioned earlier , I went physically to a shop in my area and bought it. But it's available online on Amazon etc. However there are several varieties of mucuna seeds having varying amounts of levodopa. I posted the picture so that beans of this specific genre are easily found on online shops
The people dealing in its sale call it with with names such as white seeds, black mucuna seeds ets. This specific genre is brown. I have noted that the taste and smell of each type is different
that’s brilliant! When using Macuna I have found it’s good to mix with lemon juice for awhile. I read somewhere that it helps it cross the blood brain barrier possibly also with green tea. I have found that it has a different and longer lasting effect when done, so.
Caution: Raw consumption of dried ground Mucuna Pruriens beans may potentially have toxic effects due to the presence of various antinutrients. Some important antinutrients found in Mucuna Pruriens beans (include L-Dopa…) are trypsin inhibitors, lectins, phytic acid (phytates), and protease inhibitors. These substances can disrupt digestion, hinder nutrient absorption, and may cause adverse reactions. To reduce potential health risks, it is recommended to prepare the raw beans before consumption.
Different methods, like soaking, germinating for 5 to 7 days and boiling, dry heat treatment such as roasting or grilling, fermentation and combinations can provide safer results, but it is inevitable that the levodopa level will significantly reduce.
According to the study below, it appears that for preserving most of the levodopa content, better soaking the seeds in water or sodium bicarbonate solution for 24 hours, then boiling them.
