Sharing this video because when I play my bass, I am never “off”. When all else is going down the tubes, I am thankful that the good Lord hasn’t taken this away from me. I basically just met these dudes, and this music is improvisation. Check out the funkiest bass since Bootsy shook yer booty!

Love it! 🎸 Very impressive and inspiring.I have a similar thing where I can move my fingers with instrument in hand but they won't do what they are told so much without. Must be a different bit of the brain.

It's a godsend to be able to carry on doing something I love and I will do so as long as I can. Unlike you it's a bit unpredictable though. Sometimes passable, sometimes excellent - depending mainly on meds or whether I've got a cold or something...

I was listening and couldn't figure out why your bass didn't sound right and then I remembered I had turned the bass down on my desktop sound system to listen to a voice video. Turned the bass back up and your bass playing came to life, as it should have! I see you still have that "stoic bass face", good to see and hear!
