This was a CURE. Not a procedure, not a theory, not a experimental treatment.
The company was on life support, the company prez sank his personal money into the corp. It was absorbed and the tests have not been released. DON'T LET THIS SIT!
PO'ed is pissed off. And it's two hours, not two years on my laptop screen. The dude spoke too quickly for me to follow. All I retain is something about two bacteria being central to PD.
Many big pharma drug companies by up smaller companies with new innovations and unfortunately lacking funding and also having something that could work, will work, and will put it away in their vault and hide it or safe keeping. Has happened many times.
What you said is so important. We need to understand that curing a disease doesn't make for long term profits. So anything that has that distinct possibility must be suppressed by big pharma companies.
Thanks for the replies. I don't understand why this CURE isn't available. 4D went broke preparing the product for the FDA. They were absorbed by another corp.
No results,, no announcements, no news. This isn't a fake Asian flu. This is serious for people with PD. I have had a FUS. DBS,, and pills that cure nothing. I'm 61yo this year with a bad health history and died 3 times back in 2021. I ain't got much left but more importantly my time is getting short. This is a CURE. It doesn't get to work if you don't take it.
"It has not been possible to sell the group solvently and the 30 employees based in Leeds, Aberdeen and Cork have been made redundant. However, the sale will ensure that the drug development expertise and innovative technology of 4D Pharma developed over the past ten years will contribute to accelerating the development of microbiome-based drugs under CJ."
What reason do you have to believe this is a cure?
There are a few animal studies alleging improvement, but those are a dime a dozen. According to the video they got authorized for Phase 1, 2 years ago. Any outcome reported anywhere?
I haven't been here in a while. I have severe PD; tremors, violent shaking, little to no sleep, loss of concentration, in fact, it's hard for me to reply. I don't go out anymore and I used to be in a KISS trib act. (I was the good looking one) I don't eat out because its embarrassing. Imagine having to ask for a new straw . I can't drink or smoke(cannabis); it makes me too weak. I had FUS in 2018 to temper the tremor on my right side but after 2 yrs it didn't take. I had DBS surgery in July 2023 to quell the constant pain.
Nothing works. I still have PD and not being the "woe is me" type, still looking for answers. This drug 4d pharma came up with is innovative and uniquely handles the blood/brain barrier through the small intestine.
This is a CURE. The bacteria work in conjunction with known good bacteria to minimize alpha-synuclein . That's the bad protein that accumulates in toxic nodules on nerve transmitters.
I'm curious about the sources too. I don't want to take sheep's placenta or shark fins. It's bad for road rage. But why no news?
You said nothing works. Was the same for me. So for 1 to 2 weeks I tried cutting meat, dairy, eggs, sugary and processed foods from my diet, eating smaller portions and cutting my protein and gluten way down. I still take my meds but it made a massive difference and I caried it on. You are going to need to be able to chop veg (not easy when you are goosed) and cook or get someone to do it for you,
It might not be the thing for you. Another chap found B6 definciancy was his big gamechanger. For someone else it was exercise. But I will give you a FULL REFUND if you end up dancing like this.
My husband has PD and we live in Kernersville, we knew that bar well haha... Sorry to hear you are no longer playing. We read your post about the procedure you and a few years ago. Back then you said you could do it again later if need be. Did it not last as long as you expected?
I opted for something more serious but dependable. .DBS slowed the pain but I still have PD. I would defer to the stem cell research experts at this time. And thanks for the youtube view.
Apologies. My team got promoted on Saturday; daughters birthday Sunday; work Monday; team became L2 Champions last night - Welcome to Stockport, US readers I broke every rule - alcohol, cake, lack of sleep, eating too much, mis-timing my meds, etc and am duly bolloxed (not at my best). I will be back as promised but meanwhile ....
1. Bananas are great.
2. Satsumas. Dark fruits etc etc.
3. I (usually) roast loads of veg in pepper or smoke paprika and spinkle with rock salt at the end - it is lovely,
4. Steam small potatoes, crush, cover in garlic and sprinkle withn olive oil on high to crisp and sprinkle with rock salt whe done.
5. Veg soup. Cut up leeks, carrotts, potatoes, cover with just enoug water, sprinkle veggie cube in, simmer, when soft blitz it, then add salt/pepper to taste and simmer for another 2-3 mins.
6. Red lentil soup.
7. Chips. (English.)
8. Linda McCartney's country pies.
9. Dates.
10. I make little balls out of 33% dates (I use date paste as it it far cheaper), 33% oats, 33% walnuts. Add a little salt and a glug of olive oil, put it in a blender then make balls.
Don't privatise good answers to such symptoms and please share with all of us. Or at least with me if no one else cares. But I do think many others would want to know your dietary mods if they work.🙏
Yeah I was a little unsure. I didn't want to be seen to be saying 'do this', rather 'this is what worked for me'. On TV this morning was a lady who at a (British) (proper) chip off someone's plate and she froze for 15 mins. The guy telling the story associated the freezing with eating the chip only 30 mins after meds but in my mind we will all have different trigger foods regardless of when we take them. I have been suspisious of cooked tomatoes for over a year and mostly avoided them, having previously cooked lost of tomato based dishes. So I made a tomato based curry on Tuesday night and ate it for breafast yesterday (sue me!) and that was me in utter pain until 2pm. Annoyed with ... just annoyed ... I ordered an overpriced takeaway vegan pizza last night but with BBQ sauce, which is processed, not tomato sauce. Ate it and I was fine. So I have been blaming the base on normal pizza for ages but it turns out it is the cooked tomato. (That wasn't me dancing btw )
"Enrichment of P. distasonis by bioactive dietary fiber
Bioactive dietary fiber alleviates IR and positively affects the host gut microbiota24,28. Supplementation with dietary fiber rich in DOP, inulin (IN), and β-glucan (BG) may enhance the abundance of Parabacteroides in the intestine29,30,31. "
this clinical trial was with regard to insulin resistance
"Gut microbiota plays a key role in insulin resistance (IR). Here we perform a case-control study of Chinese adults (ChiCTR2200065715) and identify that Parabacteroides distasonis is inversely correlated with IR. Treatment with P. distasonis improves IR, strengthens intestinal integrity, and reduces systemic inflammation in mice. We further demonstrate that P. distasonis-derived nicotinic acid (NA) is a vital bioactive molecule that fortifies intestinal barrier function via activating intestinal G-protein-coupled receptor 109a (GPR109a), leading to ameliorating IR. We also conduct a bioactive dietary fiber screening to induce P. distasonis growth. Dendrobium officinale polysaccharide (DOP) shows favorable growth-promoting effects on P. distasonis and protects against IR in mice simultaneously. Finally, the reduced P. distasonis and NA levels were also validated in another human type 2 diabetes mellitus cohort. These findings reveal the unique mechanisms of P. distasonis on IR and provide viable strategies for the treatment and prevention of IR by bioactive dietary fiber."
Most HPLC detectors work by converting a physiochemical property of an analyte into an electrical signal. In other words, a detector ‘sees’ a sample and sends signals at consecutive time points throughout the sample run. It's a photodiode. (I think...)
P. distasonis or pentadecanoic acid is an odd-chain fatty acid. P. distasonis is regarded as a gut commensal bacterium that is highly enriched in healthy subjects. How do you feel about a fecal transplant?
I agree with earlier advice to modify your diet. And use the opportunity to rebuild the gut microbiome. Silver Fern has a lot of good information.
Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.
May be PDcare Laser by Symbyx can help you. I have not tried it yet, but saw some good reviews. Since I have problem holding things, I bought Symbyx Neuro Helmet, just got delivered.
