I’ve been dealing with what has been called dysautonomia. Occipital nerve pain, sore neck, dizziness with movement. My headache neurologist has suggested a Botox injection into the occipital nerve which is the most affected area. Has anyone else in this group been diagnosed with this?

there are some suggestions online that lion's mane may help with tremor but then there are also some things to think about like being sure that this would not cause an allergic reaction or conflict with any medications a person takes
"Does Lion’s Mane Help with Tremors?
Research suggests that could help reduce the frequency and severity of tremors. This mushroom can also promote nerve cell growth and provide neuroprotective effects that aid in the overall health of your brain, spinal cord, and entire nervous system.
Let’s look at how lion’s mane interacts with the nervous system."
"Lion’s Mane Side Effects
Lion’s mane is safe for most people. However, there are some contraindications to taking lion’s mane mushrooms. If you have allergies to mold, yeast, or other fungi, or are on medication that may interact with the lion’s mane mushroom, be cautious when you first start taking it."
I had botox in my neck for pain and dystonia. The neurologist injected botox in several areas of my neck. I could not hold my head up for 3 months. I think she hit a nerve. Anyways I am telling you this to say, get a second opinion and make sure doctor is using guided imagery. Good luck and God Bless
sadly many of the medications and treatments caused more problems than they solve. I trust good old Carbidopa/levodopa! Not wonderful for me as it works (is ON) only one hour out of. 4. I also use Entacapone which gives me 20 extra minutes (without it I’d only get 40 minutes of IN time per 4 hour period. Another reliable treatment is exercise through Rock Steady boxing and/or interval training (HIIT) with exercise bike or fast walking . I follow the Forks Over Knives diet, which minimizes inflammation. What keeps me sane and on track is my God. (Praises Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit ) God sends me many good people, web sites and books. He helps me understand how to turn suffering into a blessing and a mission!
