IPX203 ;promising new PD drug?

I currently take rytary 4-5 times per day. My neuro thinks I may be a good candidate for this drug. In July 2023, thr drug manufacturer, Amneal,(if i understnd correctly) was working with FDA about safety of carbidopa in IPx203

january 2024, knight Pharma obtained rights from Amneal to market IPX203 in Latin America and Canada .

1. Does anyone have any experience with this drug, perhaps participated in trials,they would share?

2. I know that some people get Rx filled in Canada. Because prices are more reasonable. Does anyone think this may be an option for those of us from USA may do to get this drug?

3. Any thoughts on how long (those of us in USA) we must wait until fda approves ipx203?

4. I think when new drugs are initially available , they are cost prohibitive does anyone have thoughts on that?

Perhaps I am cynical, but I don't see much difference between this and Rytary other than Rytary hypothetically lasts 4.5 to 5 hours and is meant to be taken 4 x day and IPX203 (per my neurologist when I recently asked) is supposed to last 7 - 8 hrs and is meant to be taken 3 x day.

Thanks for responding . My neuro thinks it may require less dosing and has fluctuations than rytary which pretty much maps to what ur neuro is saying, I share ur cynicism.
