There was absolutely no follow up on the lived experience of this soul. It is as if she just passed away from us and society into oblivion. I am not even sure if anyone is aware of or in touch with her family or who are related to her and are grieving.
I know that life goes on and everything is transient. But this is all there is?
Any thoughts or comments?
Edit : I apologize. My message was not clear. I was just venting about the seemingly quiet way in which she ended her life and the world just goes on. She ended her life after she couldn't cope with the failure of FUS. I thought that this would be an big deal, but it's not sparking a debate and a discussion about assisted suicide and the pros and cons of it and the rationale. If I were an author, I would sieze on it and turn it into a book.

30 comments is not nothing. 30 people reacted to her passing. 30 people felt the loss of an individual they may never have met. I don't expect my demise to have even that much of an impact. I've told the family, get the cheapest cremation then flush the ashes down the toilet and recycle the urn. That's s my epitaph.
If by some chance I live longer than you kaypeeoh, and we know when you pass, I will make sure your memorial post gets at least 31 comments.
Personally, I am trying to work out a burial at sea. Not cremated then dumped in the sea, but the body dumped in the sea. It can be done (and it can be free for veterans).
I think unless the member is the primary caregiver that their knowledge and contact with this group is minimal and they very possibly would not know how to sign on much less post an update unless the person has specifically requested they do so, which is unlikely, IMO.
Whether one likes it or not - that is how it ends. A few memories and then life goes on as usual, each to his own and attending to the problems. The cycle of birth and death continues. There were many here who wished her a peaceful journey beyond this realm and appreciated her contribution. Not sure if there is a need to author a book.
