This is advertised for essential tremor relief. I have no idea if this is applicable to PD tremor relief.

Thank you and their blurb unambiguously states: 'The Cala kIQ™ System is for people with action (not PD resting) tremor of the hand.' Bummer.

I have both types of tremor. Anyhow it's not covered if for pd and too expensive for us ordinary folks.

Various tremor types (rest, postural, kinetic and intention) may be seen in both essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease. Furthermore, with time, the two diseases may coexist within a single patient:

My cousin was diagnosed with tremor dominant Parkinson’s last year and he’s using the Cala. He said it helps the tremor on the side he’s wearing it for about an hour after it kicks in. 🥊

I am presuming he was able to procure this on his own. It is not covered by medicare, insurance, etc. I have been communicating with this company since 2018 and even though it seems like they may have some degree of approval for tremor that is not essential tremor for a long time they told me that it was only for essential tremor. I am presuming that using the device is totally out of pocket.

My wife has had good tremor management with the DIY vibrating gloves. Not an easy path (until Tass gets them FDA approved), but a great management tool.

Tremors are bad with stress and constipation, sometimes exercise too. Thank God not all the time. Have you had any side effects with propanol? Thanks for you input.

No side effects to note for me. It helps with my stress, too much caffeine and adrenaline induced tremors

There’s a doctor have to write a script for that? How much do you take?
