Just a FYI for keto dieters. I was just reading about Terri Wahls reasons for not using keto diet long term, but shifting in and out and adjusting to the seasons. You might want to check it out. I just realized I forgot to copy the link, but if you search Wahls olive oil keto, you can see both her new research, and an a explanation of the diet protocol, although not in great detail here. New book coming out apparently.

A good podcast, I just listened. Turns out I’ve been doing this on my own. I upped my protein goal to 100 G daily after listening to protein metabolism guru, Don Layman on Peter Attias channel. Layman recommends 1.6 G protein per kilo of body weight. Which is challenging, since I only eat two times per day, within a 8 to 10 hour window. One little hack we’ve found is Kevin’s natural foods, in the refrigerated section of Costco or WFM. Good wholesome meat entrees. 5 minutes to prepare. Add 2 cups steamed veggies, and you’ve got a keto meal. Good luck and stay fit- JG
Another protein hack is Orgain protein drinks from Costco. 30 g milk protein to three g net carbs per container. Milk isolate (whey) is preferred by keto bodybuilders because of limited release of Insulin.
Thanks rebtar
Hi. Are you on C/ L as well? How can u manage to eat so much protein and have it not interfere with the absorption of the meds? We are struggling to get enough calories and protein in with all the resteictions around food and C/L.
wondering if you have tried complete amino acids. I use Kion aminos. They are easy to drink are a complete protein and are a flavored water drink. So when eating window comes up, drink up. Also added a beef protein (complete, grass fed) powder that tastes better than the plant based. No fat, low carb, 20 grams protein, when eating window opens!
I have news for her - olive oil and vegetable and seed oils have been shown to exacerbate obesity because it stimulates hibernation mode fat storage! Not joking.
