Is anyone following a Keto diet for their Parkinsons? If so, what is your daily carbs intake? Any modifications if weight loss not the goal but just want to control Parkinsons symptoms and general inflammatory process?
Even though there is limited clinical trial information available, I do believe there is something to limiting sugar and carbs.

Yes, have been adapting to low carb/Keto diet and aiming foe no more than 50 carbs a day. Avoiding bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc and of course sugary items. (Still have a beer though!). I have lost weight, which was not intended and keeping an eye on that. Do however feel very well and have good energy.
Also adapting to intermittent fasting most days. So I don't eat between say 8pm and 2pm the next day. Not too difficult as long as I have a coffee/tea.
Low carb diet reduces inflammation and fasting promotes Autophagy. Who knows whether it will help but seems worth a try.
Sugar alcohols are allowed sugar substitutes. Mannitol is sugar alcohol not sugar which is allowed on keto. Just be careful on amount as can cause GI problems.
Doing OK thanks. Still doing low carb/keto and mannitol. I would say my progression has been very slow and medication pretty much unchanged. (I do not aim to be active/on all the time and accept down time, which can be frustrating at times as I still have good energy.)
