Thanks for the link.
Let me know what you think, I used to think that it was a natural to go through menopause but it's just Nature's Way of phasing us out we are slowly dying, since we are no longer in the reproductive years, well I guess it is but I'm not ready to go out yet. I didn't realize how important the hormones work to all the receptors I think this is a big part of the puzzle, I'm sure testosterone is the same for men as estrogen is to keep everything in balance as for nutrition as well. Thank you, Maria
Hi Maria, I agree! So now what do we do? I’m looking in to how to delay menopause as much as possible. I’m 46. I’m presently thinking that I have been too estrogen dominant and am looking for how to increase my progesterone. I listened to the video. Lots of new info!
You might find this lady helpful. I do!

CC,
Anything to go against nature and what God meant for us to go though are not advisable. When I was 49 and was going through menopause, my doctor insisted that I have hormone replacement therapy to extend my "youth," I flatly refused for the reasons I stated above. A few months later, we found out that this therapy was carcinogenic! I am so glad I didn't follow my doctor's advice.
I've been on HRT pretty much since I was diagnosed. My functional medicine doc recommended it for brain health. My progression has been slow -- with meds my symptoms aren't noticeable and I'm 6 1/2 years past diagnosis. Perhaps this has been a factor? who knows?
