Does anyone else experience leg muscle fatigue or weakness as a symptom during off periods of PD?

Or experience leg muscle stiffness when we awake to get out of bed but it soon goes away?

My last dose of c/l is at 6PM. I am stiff during the night when i get up to go to the bathroom. Also shifting how i sleep is more difficult.

I have serious issues walking during off times, legs become like jelly

Sorry to hear that. How about your arms, do they feel like jelly or you can rely on them, at least to an extent?

I'm totally immobile for hours at a time and need 24/7 one-to-one care. The worst is that during this time all my muscles are tensed to a breaking point.

All my life. I’noticed a deleyd connection to wheat, oat. Sometimes it can be immidiad, sometimes the reaktion comes after 3-4 days. Oatporridge and pizza is worst. Elimination works the same way. it can be 1-4 days hell with jelly legs, brainfog etc etc

You are not wrong. Through weeks of trial and error I just discovered that cheese (and all dairy) has the effect of hitting me with a bat and disabling me for 48 hrs. My go to snack EVERY DAY had been cheese - no wonder I couldn't move! I am improved but I reckong that there are other foods/food types that also contribute so I will be having a play over the coming months.

Yes, very weak, but goes completely away after a dose of C/L or mucuna kicks in.

Yes, legs and hips and upper back and neck...stiff and heavy ..legs feel like I'm dragging heavy weights around...and I'm very, very slow shuffling my feet. During off times, just before a sinemet dose...though I try to take my dose before it gets to that point...but, if I miss a dose or I'm late taking it then these are the off symptoms I experience.

YES! My left leg gets like pins and needles. Then it hurts and cramps. It’s one of the first symptoms I get when my meds are wearing off.

I'm dealing with that now. I use a treadmill. I'd gotten off it and was walking out of the room when my legs gave out and I slumped to the ground. I take Rytary at 6AM. The second dose usually around 2PM. That's the time period where I was getting off the treadmill. Perhaps the problem was Rytary wearing off but I'm not sure. It wasn't painful, the legs simply quit working. I'm taking the day off to let my legs recuperate. Tomorrow I'll try again but not 8 hours after the morning dose.

You may want to try an extra dose of Rytary before your treadmill session.
