I was curious about the drug Ambroxol after learning about it here in this forum. Here's the information.

I used bootlegged Ambroxol (in USA) a couple months ago when I had aspiration pneumonia from surgery - during sedation I vomited and was intubated. The antibiotics weren't slowing down the cytokine storm. This is where Ambroxol shines. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/273...

The missing link in the clinical trial you cited is the inflammatory immune response in neurodegenerative diseases. I took the FMa blood test and was highly positive for Fibromyalgia. It measures blood levels of certain cytokines.

Thats what we say about NZ.I ordered Ambroxil on line from America ... I thought but maybe not?.

Not cheap and prob have to

take long term for benefits. Larger doses needed hence quantity needed. Maybe we should revisit.

Should keep some on hand for respiratory viruses. I did see a clinical trial that looks like it was US based. Maybe something changed?
