Devices to reduce tremor

Good morning, my tremors have increased , who has found benefit in using any device? I thank in advance those who will help me.

Holding on to any device that emits strong vibrations for some minutes seems to relieve tremors for some hours. The "viraball" is specifically designed for the purpose. I happen to have this device on hand which works very well: amazon.com/gp/product/B0010...

But it is a bit awkward to hold on to. I Imagine there is something cheaper out there that will work.

I hate to suggest a medical option for obvious reasons, but I have found that 10mg of propranolol gets rid of my tremors after 30 mins. It is by far the best option for me.

I have had some success with Gabapentin 100mg and Ashwagandha (Ayurvedic) as well although not as powerful as propranolol. Sometimes, Propranolol acts in 15 minutes or less depending on my most recent meal.

A word of strong caution. Propranolol can also cause hypotension as it's a blood pressure reducing medicine as well

For me, I find that keeping up to date with my meds gets rid of most of my tremors.

The levodopa controls my tremor, but when the effect is over, the tremor occurs punctually

Propranolol caused severe rash on me.

I realize that this is well into the world of experimental, but my wife has great tremor control with the DIY Vibrotactile Coordinated Reset gloves. Your mileage may vary.

i have two of these in my bed ... for many months, as i lay on my back -- i drape my arm over each one and lightly grip with my hands

1. it instantly "masks" my thousands of very mild INTERNAL tremors ...

2. long term benefit? hard to say ...

3. you can find this even cheaper on ebay for about $60

welcome and here's another amazing thing about the massager ... they last and last and last and last ... I typically have mine on for 10 hours straight ... every single day ... I couldn't sleep without them ... (i don't take any drugs) ...

They last me well over a year before I have to replace them.
