“Scientists discover signalling circuit boards inside body's cells.” by University of Edinburgh

I think it has been published previously but I can no longer find it. IMO this finding presents a more logical and realistic picture of the structure and function of brain networks that is more compatible to the enormous amount of impulses precisely directed to the muscles of the body. A start to understanding the great complexity of an organ like our brain.

Quote:

"Unlike a fixed circuit board, however, cells can rapidly rewire their communication networks to change their behavior.

The discovery of this cellular network overturns our understanding of how instructions spread within a cell.

The various organs and structures within a cell were thought to float in an open sea called the cytoplasm.

The signals that tell the cell what to do were thought to be transmitted in waves, and the frequency of the waves was the crucial part of the message.

Researchers at the University of Edinburgh found that the information is carried through a network of guide wires that transmit the signals over tiny, nanoscale distances."

By the way,

I am me,

Even without brains , even with the PD.

Greetings from Italy.

My father used to say you got shit for brains! God made you so smart you can afford to lose a little! LOL how are you Gio! Thank you for this interesting information. I will read further. I hope you and your family are doing well.

LOL Steve, always good to hear from you.

I see that you too are always you and this makes me happy.

I can't complain even if people try my patience sometimes.

Dap1948 wrote a book on the use of vitamin b1 which went on to become something of an Amazon best seller selling over 10,000 copies.

By the way, as you can see, nothing new ever happens here and you have to fight boredom by finding new, big problems to dramatize in the game of life. 🤗

greetings from Italy

Chapel near the house, even strangers greet each other walking on this street.

The boredom in that terrible place in Italy does cause your signalling circuits activating the Default Mode Network, so we benefit from your inspiring contributions. 🍀

A good morning from our annoying place in the Vosges.
