Hello everybody, I’ll have a blood test soon. What do you think are the checks, in addition to the routine ones, that every pwp should necessarily do? Thank you very much.
Blood checks: Hello everybody, I’ll have a... - Cure Parkinson's

I asked my doctor to add these to my upcoming annual physical/blood panel.
THS
HsCRP
Homocysteine
HbA1c
Ferritin, Iron, & TIBC panel
vitamin B12
Vitamin D 25, OH
If you take any form of Carbidopa then you should have your B6 checked in addition to the ones Marc recommends.
Even if you don't take carbidopa (yet) I would test the B6, just like vitamin B9 folic acid
This from Dr. Mischley page at Seattle Integrative Medicine. Testing for the first visit includes:

In addition to those already mentioned, I would check lithium.Search this site for Dr. Thomas Guttoso
Earlier and The Promise of Lithium.
A decreased zinc level appears to belong to PD. I don't know what the consequences are and whether it makes sense to test on this. Does anyone have any experiences with zinc deficiency?
Very interesting, I will talk about it with my doctor, thank you. What checks did you do? Did you get the results?
