I'm trying to contact him for curling toes dystonia
what is the name of this organization?
He says he is a functional neurologist & a chiropractor. He's not a MD so I don't like the fact that he calls himself a neurologist!
my chro was a chiro neurologist , they study after they graduate then take exams. He didn’t give drugs, but was a wizard with electrical stimulation. Sadly he passed away some time ago. Before I was diagnosed with PD. There is nothing a MD neurologist has told me that was different than the chiropractor told me. The PTs that I currently work with are neuro PTs. All are important parts of the team.
In my opinion, calling yourself a neurologist is implying that you're an MD. If he would refer to himself as a "chiropractic neurologist," then I wouldn't feel like he is being a bit deceptive. I am not saying there's no place for a chiropractor who specializes in neurological care; I'm just saying that it looks (to me) like he's trying to pass himself off as a neurology physician.
