Does plant protein isolate cause as many problems with Carbidopa Levadopa as animal protein?

My neurologist's response when I asked about plant protein is protein is protein. Protein is digested in the stomach.. If food lacks protein, it passes through the stomach more quickly. The levo in levodopa means dopa is suspended in oil droplets which tends to fool the stomach into letting it pass through. However, the longer the levodopa stays in the stomach, the more levodopa will be digested by the stomach and thus be destroyed.

the levo in levodopa is a chemical term referring to the chirality of the molecule, nothing to do with oil droplets. It is also stable at stomach acid pH, certainly for the time it’s in the stomach. You’re right in one respect about residence time in the stomach in that the longer it’s there, the longer it takes to have an effect.

I think the effects are the same but I prefer whole plants for less toxins and more fibre to avoid constipation.
