I am one of the founders of pedalingforparkinson’s’s, which had 175 chapters before the pandemic. Research has shown that high cadence exercising and bicycles is one of the few things that can mitigate the symptoms of Parkinson’s. I was doing quite well until I had to have a series of operations and took me off the bike for going on three years now. However, I’m quite determined to get back to my previous levels of cycling. After being diagnosed in 2008 I joined a group that was determined to show the world that people don’t have to roll up into a little ball once they have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s . I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as some other famous peaks. I’m happy to talk with anyone about cycling or exercise in general. I am interested in this new treatment that affects alpha syruvleam
