High Dose Thiamine (HDT)—How critical is the sweet spot?

It was written Thiamine hcl; 2 to 4 grams [Is 10% increments (200mg or 400mg) too tight? I end up at 1100mg—Should I have accepted 1000mg as my sweet spot?

I guess I got my answer on another source. Stop at first signs of reducing symptoms and give it time to work.

If overdose is nothing but return of symptoms, what have you lose by pushing the envelope for better. Stopping at 500mg when 750 may have quicker results seems reasonable to me. Sure in a few months (years) you may need to reduce.

I think overdose is too strong of word for return of symptoms.

I always appreciate input regarding experience with B1. My husband uses it for PD. I'm using it for Fibromyalgia.
