Photomodulation - which device would you choose?

1. Duo Coronet (USD 795.00) + CoroNase(USD 295.00) - transcranial and intranasal are sold separately - emits deep red at 670nm, and near-infrared at 810nm - wavelength is pulsed at 40Hz (Gamma) - the total price for the combo is USD 1090

2. Vielight Neuro Gamma 3 (USD $1,799.00) - it is transcranial and intranasal - emits pulsed 810nm NIR - comes with only Gamma mode.

Gamma (40Hz): focus, memory, brain energy.

3. Vielight Neuro Duo 3 (USD $2,399.00) - it is transcranial and intranasal - emits pulsed 810nm NIR - comes with both Alpha and Gamma modes.

Gamma (40Hz): focus, memory, brain energy.

Alpha (10 Hz): relaxation and sleep improvement.

4. Vielight Neuro Duo 3 | X-Plus 3 Combo (USD $3,168.00) - same as the Neuro Duo 3 but includes an extension for the cerebellum and thymus gland.

6. NEURADIANT 1070 ($2,995.00) - it is only transcranial - emits a wavelength of 1070nm - has 4 modes: Peace (10 Hz), Focus (40 Hz), Energy [bloodflow] (20 Hz) and Glow [skin] (0 Hz)

Which would you pick based on the wavelength and price? Have you tried any of these devices? Do you think photo modulation works?

Hi, I use the Vielight Neuro Duo 3, X Plus. The days I still get the helmet from Symbxy Biome from Australia - I want to test then.

All information on my homepage: parkinsonclub.de there is also a video with English subtitles:

Interesting website, thank you for sharing. You really grabbed the bull by the horns. Well done.

Hello Michel,

but you are also going full throttle! :-)

I have looked at your approach - there are some parallels. Fortunately, it has caught us at a time where there is justified hope that there will be basic healing methods in the near future.

I agree, neither of us wants to be a spectator of our own demise! There is a lot we can do through exercise, nutrition, meditation and technology to try to slow down progression.

And maybe some medical progress comes and help us along the way (as seems to be the case for Alzheimer’s from what I read yesterday).

May the Force be with us!

I might add that the Well Red Coronet 810nm NIR can be set to either 40Hz or 10Hz, selectable in the Android smartphone app.

Due to the risk of triggering an epileptic fit, the 670nm deep red runs at only 40Hz.

You have missed the Red Light Bucket from Dorset Community Men's Shed.

The original bucket light was made by Dr Catherine Hamilton. You can read her account of the way the bucket light hat evolved here: redlightsonthebrain.blog/ab...

Michael Richards improved the bucket hat by creating a design that Catherine has called the Cossack. Detailed instructions for making your own Cossack light hat can be found here: redlightsonthebrain.blog/di...

The same blog includes some recent improvements Michael has made to the Cossack design so it can be used on places other than the head.

I have the NEURADIANT. Yesterday, I was at the functional doctor and he asked me which device I bought. When I told him, he said, good, that one is the best. Sorry, I didn't ask him why it's the best. He doesn't sell them, he only researched them. I also bought a nose unit to go with it.

Can't say I've noticed any big difference in the 6 months or so I've had it.

My husband uses the Welled Coronet, used the bucket hat first as mentioned above for about a year. Updated to the Coronet as it didn’t need batteries charging. I’ve written about my husbands experience on quite a few posts. He’s been using it for several years now.

My two cents, Vielight has 19 independent, peer-reviewed clinical studies in Parkinson's, neurodegeneration, TBI. I think they're a medical device company as well under ISO 13485 and MDSAP, which is very hard to acquire, speaking as someone in the medical device field.

The Neuronic has little to no research but they make a lot of claims. They only have 1 long-covid study with 7 participants in their group, I don't think they'd be able to achieve any meaningful efficacy beyond placebo in a rigid scientific setting because their helmet is too weak.

I own a helmet similar to the Neuronic via buying directly from their vendor in China, Suyzeko at 50% of the price, which I regret purchasing. The irradiance is just too weak with the Neuronic helmet based on my measurements which the PBM foundation also confirmed with theirs through their engineering partners, comparing their helmet to the Vielight: pbmfoundation.org/wp-conten... Neuronic was at 6 mW/cm2 and Vielight was at 250 or so mW/cm2 - the Vielight is almost 40 times stronger but has a much smaller surface area of coverage.

If you want to go with the research and what's more powerful in terms of power density to drive energy through the skull, I'd go with the Vielight. The Neuronic is just useless, I can get more energy from a cheap NIR LED while moving it around my head.

Though I refuse to buy from Vielight because I'm boycotting Canadian goods from down south and I think they're a bit too expensive. I'm going to try making my own rig first with some 810 and 1064 lasers to simulate Vielight's power density
