Nose breathing( taping mouth shut at night) has my Husband with PD sleeping more soundly and longer at night

If you haven't read the book Breath by James Nestor...DO ! It speaks to the many benefits to the brain and body of nose breathing, especially at night. My husband has PD ( dx 9 years ago) he often doesn't sleep all night and can get extremely restless and active in his sleep. Since taping his mouth at night he sleeps all the way thru the night, and is totally still and calm all night! There are sleep tape strips we buy on amazon.

I did that a few years ago and it worked but then I started pulling the tape off in my sleep. I had a couple of gagging incidents that scared me and I quit. Apparently I am an aggressive sleeper😂.

I agree, it works. That is a good book, too. He also has lots of YouTube videos that basically give highlights from his book
