Any SUPER PD experts in/around San Diego or Los Angeles?

My Dad has PD and is with Kaiser. We haven't yet found a medical expert that seems to be at the forefront of the field. Kaiser docs will not weigh in or consider/discuss any alternative remedies for symptoms (which I get). Though, I am determined to find a renowned doctor or natural path or EXPERT in Southern California...someone who has really made an impact in this field that I could take my Dad to.

Any recommendations? Does anyone know of any truly renowned clinics, doctors, institutions, etc, here? THANK YOU!

We're in San Diego but can travel to anywhere in CA or even Arizona, Texas, nearby states.

UCSF and STANFORD in norcal are among the best worldwide. I am 72 and at Kaiser too I did educate myself by reading a lot. There is no cure as you know but the PD symptoms can be managed via existing drugs and the only way to slow the disease is through serious daily physical exercises . I will be having a DBS surgery in July

I have also looked in our area for someone who specializes in PD. Anyone on this feed in the Boise, Idaho /Treasure Valley area?

You can check out Dr John Bergman a chiropractor on Youtube He has opened a clinic in Mexico but might still run his US clinic. Search for his name folowed by "parkinsons" "youtube" and you should find him. One of his PD patients went from wheelchair to walking with a cane in 80 days.
