hi does anyone know where i can buy UM PEA in UK?
Did you try Amazon?
Hi Todd-pw!
I am unsure if this is what you are looking for or not (not sure what UM is?), but I purchase my PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) from Vitalitus. Their website is: vitalitus.com. I am unsure if they ship to the UK or not, but it's worth the ask. All the very best to you!

I have been going through my pile of nutraceuticals and looking at the quality of evidence for their efficacy. We know by now that in vitro and animal studies translate very poorly and tell us little about what is likely to be helpful to humans with PD. For um-PEA, we have one uncontrolled study (Brotini, 2017) in which um-PEA was added to existing treatments for a small group of people with PD. No blindness, no control treatment. Symptoms improved. Weak evidence. I am not taking um-PEA anymore.
thanks for the info all i know is shortly after i started PEA i noticed many positive changes in my symptoms from movement and mood to digestion.
Note if symptomatic improvement continues. Powerful and physiologically active placebo effects (actually stimulating dopamine release) occur in PD. If it is placebo, improvement will not be long-term. That's why personal experience can be deceiving. I look for clinical trials. Unfortunately, there aren't many available for nutraceuticals.
There’s no doubt that a placebo effect can be very powerful. However my husband has absolutely no interest in what supplements I stuff him with, and wouldn’t know what PEA was or what it may do.In the 4 months that he has been taking it our friends have all remarked on the difference in his gait and posture, and his voice is much stronger. The only thing he has noticed is that he can write his name legibly for the first time in 4 years, and he puts that down to new glasses! So I think we have some empirical evidence that seems to show that in some cases PEA can be a positive supplement in PD treatment. As his consultant only believes in Sinemet,I’m more than happy to try a range of treatments that may help me keep him a little longer.
we get ours from the House of health in Auckland NZ. I think you have to go through a clinical person to access it. The place she gets it asks if you are a medical practitioner. You could email and ask her.
