Hi Gary,

Have you seen the Victor1975 post posted 3 days ago. It’s a video of an interview with Catherine Hamilton from Wellred, the manufacturer of the coronet and Therapad and more recently the CoroNase, which clips onto the nostril. See their website.

There was research done here in Australia last year by a team of scientists. My husband’s neurologist said that the leader of the team is known to him and you can be certain the research was well done . My husband has all three now and I will report back when I have a better idea of what is happening . I can say though that the neurologist said that some of his patients have told him that they are using the coronet with good results. They probably use this site.

The one thing that has happened very recently though is that my husband now has his sense of taste back after loosing it many years ago because of PD.

thank you for your response I was diagnosed 19 years ago. At first I tried everything and anything Can’t afford it anymore wasted a lot of $$$ and time. Kind of cynical now about new treatments and gadgets but I don’t want to miss out on something that can help

Vielight has an 80% return policy if their product doesn't work. It's roughly $2000 to start though. It's an infrared and far-infrared device.

I know what you mean. We’ve had an eventful year this year with my husband, Alan’s health. He’s in hospital now with a broken bone in his hand after a fall. He had delirium in October. The geriatrician told me about the Vielight that kaypeeoh mentioned here. He said he’d seen good results with it. It’s also infrared and near infrared light. I told him about the coronet.

The other thing that’s changed recently is Alan’s blood pressure. He had high and low blood pressure…high at night and low in the morning. It’s now good, no more medication. It could be because he’s on high dose Vitamin C for his constipation, I’m thinking. Although the coronet may be helping.

wow! Hubby’s BP is all over the map, keep us posted if you figure out what’s going on there. He’s occasionally using red light and recently vit C, should I increase these? (Hope he is able to heal a quickly and get out of the hospital)

I suspect using infrared light occasionally won’t do much. We use it twice a day. We have been using the Coronase with it for a few weeks as well. Maybe that’s why he’s got his sense of taste back. Alan takes Vitamin C for constipation, hence the high dose, 5 to 10 Grams.

Started using Vielight Neuro 2 Gamma device about 3 years ago.I didn't notice any changes right away but seemed to get better sleep. After about 3-4 months I was driving by a house where they were cutting the grass and I was easily able to smell the fresh cut grass. Afterwards, I started noticing definite improvement in smell, not 100% restored but greatly improved. My sense of smell remains good and I sleep better using the device. The device operates 20 minutes before auto shut off. I use it 6 days per week which is/was Vielight's recommended application. I was diagnosed 2018.

I made my husband a hat then bought a very expensive led/nir helmet light visor etc . No real results. Not saying that it doesnt help but has not helped him. We plug away anyway until the next thing. Tie a knot and hang on

Hello from TurkiyeEveryone experiences PD diffrently. All I can say is red light therapy is a good option to try. bec. There is no sight effect. We bought duo corenet (wellred company- Catherine Hamilton) from Australia for my wife. She has been using twice a day for 6 months. It helped for her brain fog, mood, concentration, foot dragging, face masking. We began to see the slightly changes from the 2nd week. In two months, we saw the max. effect. We think it is worth trying

For $109 on Amazon: iTHERAU Red Light Therapy Device for Head, Led Hats Red Light 60 LED 660nm & 60 LED Infrared Light 830nm Wavelength Turns off after 20 minutes Can set the pulsing for 40Hz per Bolt_ Upright's post from a couple of days ago to ditch Theta waves with binaural beats. I know there is a difference between light and sound, but like the 40Hz option. It is mainly being promoted for hair growth, but light is light and the price is reasonable.
